HGTV as well as Rise to Fame Tarek in 2011 asked a friend to aid him in making an HGTV tape which showed Christina and him flipping a home from beginning to the end. Pie Town Productions executive received the tape. The executives fell in adore with Tarek & Christina. The deal was signed by the couple with HGTV. "Flip of Flop" was launched in April of 2013. Over the course of seven seasons, this show was broadcast between 2013-2017. Christina and Tarek bought houses located in Orange County that were usually homes with a middle-income. They spent the next months renovating their home so they could sell it for a profit. Tarek is primarily focused on removal and remodeling and Christina oversees the creating the design. She makes sure the project is completed on time.
