LeBron Raymone James Sr. is a American basketball professional that plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. He is known as King James he is widely considered to be among the top players of all time and has often been compared with Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player ever. James has won four NBA championships four NBA MVP Awards, 4 NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James has scored the most points in the playoffs the second most career points and has the seventh highest amount of assists in his career. James is the NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, the most in history. He has also been named for the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. In total, he has participated in 10 NBA Finals. This is the third-most of all time. 8 of them were consecutive from 2011 and. In 2021 James was named to be part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022, he became the very first athlete in NBA history to accumulate 10,000 or more career points rebounding and assists. James, who was born in Akron Ohio, played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School. In the media, national newspapers lauded him as a possibility NBA superstar. He was a prep-to-pro player, and was picked by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft. He was named by the NBA most promising rookie in the 2004. Soon he became one of the most elite athletes of the NBA, winning the NBA MVP award in as of 2009 and in 2010.
